Low Mileage, Original Survivor, 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet with 48k Original Documented Miles featured in Silver Grey (DB180) with Black Leather Interior. This is collector grade W111 "Low Grill" Cabriolet, one of 1392 produced worldwide and only 808 made for the US market with the V-8 option. Well documented service and repairs since 2016 total $30,000 and were performed here at EAS and at Paul Russell and Company. Paint is mostly original, chrome is all original, interior is mostly original with the exception of the front seats that were re-upholstered with the correct material (not a kit). Unique features of the W111 include Four Place Seating, A/C, Zabrano Wood, Rear Independent Suspension, Four Wheel Disk Brakes, and a 3.5 liter V-8 (M116) with Overhead Camshafts. These last of the hand built Mercedes-Benz vehicles are some of the rarest and most collectible of the post war Daimler-Benz designs.
